10/1/08 Halloween Horror Book Review Project Launch

Tonight we launch the 2008 Halloween Horror Book Review Project. This year MonsterLibrarian.com, Horrorworld, Horror-Web, Hellnotes, FearZone, Horror Drive-In, and Dark Scribe Magazine will be offering up reviews of horror titles, many set on or around Halloween. Reviews will be posted throughout the month, so please check back here for the latest Halloween fun. The Monster Librarian reviewed Ghost Walk by Brian Keene in the adult Supernatural page and Bound for Evil edited by Tom English in the adult horror anthologies page. Horror Drive-in has contributed a review of Miranda by John Little in the adult Something Different section. Hellnotes already has posted their review of Night Country by Stewart O"Nan. We will have additional reviews and goodies all through October.

We have also started the final update of the 2008 Coming Horror Fiction Releases page for October, November, and December and will have part 2 of the update next week

For teens and to help with YALSA's Books with Bite program we have put together the latest list of young adult vampire fiction.

For the 12 and under readers we have started our own Halloween Book List for Kids page
