Contest Reminder- Jennifer Crusie’s “Maybe This Time”

We announced a contest for a copy of Jennifer Crusie’s “Maybe This Time” a couple of months ago. It’s a creepy, funny, and romantic ghost story, and I’m not saying that just because she’s one of my favorite writers.

The romance genre is claiming it’s one of the best romance novels for 2010- but, guys, I read both genres, and it’s a ghost story. Don’t be afraid- step right up and claim it! All you have to do is leave a comment telling us whether you believe in ghosts.

Note: Contest is open to North American residents only.

What does this mean for libraries? We here at Monster Librarian feel that the different media that horror that the genre is found in provides an excellent opportunity to promote leisure reading by tying books to other media, like tv shows, movies, and video games, being promoted in mass media. There have been a plethora of zombie titles that have come out in the past few years, and this is a great time to put some on display!
