Courage that Beats out Fear- Maka Albarn’s Great Resolution?
The students take a bit of a back seat to the witches in this episode as we get to see that Medusa (the witch and Death’s school nurse) has a whole lot up her sleeve. More than even the other witches know. Eruka Frog tries to kill Medusa, thinking her schemes are too risky to the other witches, but instead gets herself sucked into the big bad’s plans.
A witch face down inside Death City gets the attention of Maka, who senses their soul wavelengths and has a burning desire to punish someone for Soul’s injuries. Meanwhile not everyone at Death Academy is blind to the possibility of a witch infiltrating the school, especially since they know someone out there has a marked interest in corrupting weapons and meisters.
