Norman Prentiss is a very talented storyteller (winner of the Bram Stoker Award), whose most accomplished tale, so far, is the outstanding \u201cIn the Porches of My Ears\u201d which also provides the title for this collection.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a totally unsettling piece of fiction, starting in the darkness of a movie theater where a woman whispers about what happens on the screen\u2026 ( winner of the Bram Stoker Award)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The present volume assembles sixteen Prentiss stories previously appeared in print elsewhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to the title story, other remarkable tales are \u201cInterval\u201d, an insightful, disturbing description of human behavior after a plane crash, when relatives\u00a0 are waiting in vain at the airport, and \u201cThe Everywhere Man\u201d, revolving around a puzzling and disquieting video becoming \u201cviral\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another special mention goes to \u201cInvisible Fences\u201d, a vivid novella addressing the way overprotective parents try to defend\u00a0 their sons and daughters from life\u2019s unavoidable dangers.<\/span><\/p>\n
