margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"https:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=monstlibra0f1-20&amp;l=li3&amp;o=1&amp;a=B074L1FXB8\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n<em>The Corona Book Of Horror Stories<\/em> edited by Lewis Williams<\/p>\n<p>Corona Books UK, 2017<\/p>\n<p>ISBN-13:\u00a0 978-0-9932472-6-2<\/p>\n<p>Available: Paperback, eBooks(Kindle)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>The Corona Book of Horror Stories<\/em> is a collection of 16 up-and-coming writers of incredible imagination.\u00a0 There are a variety of stories that cover the gamut of the horror genre;\u00a0 there is something for nearly everyone.\u00a0 Anything that can be used to scare, terrorize and, give you the creeps is on tap here, from the mundane to the extraordinary.\u00a0 Variety is the spice of life.\u00a0 And death.<\/p>\n<p>This was an interesting collection of new writers.\u00a0 Most of them are in and from the U.K. with a few U.S. writers mixed in.\u00a0 Each story was edited with the author&#8217;s origin in mind, so the grammar switched up occasionally.\u00a0 The variety was fun, as I did not know what topic I would get with each new story.<\/p>\n<p>However, there were some stories I loved and some I did not.\u00a0 Those I really liked were:\u00a0<em>A Health And Safety Issue <\/em>(I can relate)<em>; Bad Boys Don&#8217;t Get Dessert <\/em>(shocking at the end)<em>; The Ornament <\/em>(it actually gave me the creeps)<em>; Death By Appointment <\/em>(a contemporary interview with Death.\u00a0 Timeless!)\u00a0 The stories I didn&#8217;t like either took too long to really get rolling or just needed grammatical and editorial help.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, although the quality of the stories varied, <em>The Corona Book of Horror Stories\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0worth reading to see what some new writers are putting together.\u00a0 I have not read any of these author&#8217;s works before.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Contains:\u00a0 Adult language, adult situations, graphic images and violence<\/p>\n<p>Reviewed by Aaron Fletcher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Corona Book Of Horror Stories edited by Lewis Williams Corona Books UK, 2017 ISBN-13:\u00a0 978-0-9932472-6-2 Available: Paperback, eBooks(Kindle) &nbsp;
